EuRho® Vital Omega-3 Plus contains high-grade Norwegian cod liver oil providing 1200 mg omega-3 fatty acids per day.
Cod liver oil is a rich source of the essential omega-3 fatty acids DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and is also rich in natural vitamin D and vitamin A. DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and to normal vision.1 DHA and EPA contribute to the normal function of the heart.2 Maternal intake of DHA contributes to the normal brain and eye development of the foetus and breastfed infants.3
Vitamin A and D contribute to the normal function of the immune system. In addition vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of normal vision and has a role in the process of cell specialisation. Vitamin D has a role in the process of cell division and contributes to the maintenance of normal bones. Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
