In the presence of sugar, in fact, the bacteria in the dental enamel give rise to the formation of acids which cause corrosion of the enamel itself and the establishment of caries; hence this sugar substitute tablets helps to prevent tooth decay.

Each tablet contains 18 mg Aspartame (INS 951). Maximum daily consumption is 40 mg aspartame per kilogram of body weight (133 tablets for a 60 kg adult).
Should not be used by phenylketonuria patients and specially children – contains a source of phenylalanine.
