X-DIAB LADY is a shoe for tertiary prevention of the diabetic foot and was built to alleviate pressure on the sole of the foot. The rigid biomechanical outsole limits stress on the joints of the foot whilst the wearer is walking and significantly reduces pressure peaks on the forefoot, contributing to a proper distribution of pressure. With its “boat”-shaped design, it contributes to the push-off stage and helps the foot to roll more easily.
The stretchable upper without seams at friction points takes the shape of the foot, softly accommodating any deformities (such as a hallux valgus or hammer toes) and avoiding painful risky rubbing and chafing.
The double-velcro fastening means that the front of the upper can be opened, making for an easy entry. It is a perfect solution for feet which are big, swollen or bandaged because the generous fit and adjustable volume comfortably accommodates the foot.Characteristics

STABIL D is a foot/ankle brace devised to treat the diabetic foot during the acute phase and to offload pressure in the case of neuropathic and ischaemic ulcers affecting the forefoot and midfoot. It is recommended for the vascular-diseased diabetic foot and Charcot foot. It is ideal for the post-surgical treatment of ankle-foot and subastragal arthrosis, corrective distal osteotomy and fractures to the astragalus and heel whenever complete offloading is required. It is also suitable for instability in the ankle whenever the ankle-foot joint needs to be partially immobilised.
The rigid biomechanical outsole provides the brace with the utmost stability during the gait cycle and the EVA insole (included) makes for targeted offloading.
The multi-velcro fastening and full opening make it easy and quick to put on whilst the front flap protects the tibia and instep from dangerous painful rubbing.
STABIL D can be used together with the Modus Insole which allows for complete offloading on the zone affected by ulcers, or bespoke insoles.

What should be observed during application?
Direct contact between GEL toe protection products and shoes may result in the transfer of cosmetic oils. With lined shoes and with dark, muted colors of the upper material, this is usually absolutely harmless. With lighter and particularly absorbent shoe uppers, we recommend wearing stockings and treating the toe protection products regularly with talcum powder (from the pharmacy) beforehand.
