FinnComfort shoes are particularly suitable for diabetics and rheumatism sufferers. They meet the high demands of sensitive feet. The shoes offer enough room for the toes and the width in the forefoot is generously measured. A secure heel hold ensures perfect rolling.

Sensitive feet and sensitive pressure points are uncomfortable and hinder us when walking and standing. Often this is the result of diabetes. After intensive research and in collaboration with doctors and orthopedists, FinnComfort presents the solution: the prophylaxis shoes with soft padding in the heel area, the inner lining is made of soft calfskin.


Soft padding is incorporated in the ankle area. The prophylactic shoes have no pressing seams and have more width and additional padding on the shaft and in the forefoot. This prophylaxis boot made of grained smooth leather is equipped with four Velcro fasteners (uppermost Velcro fastener deflected). The shoes are suitable for orthopedic insoles. How to clean?
All natural Finn Comfort footbeds may be removed overnight for airing. They may be hand washed with mild soap and warm water (30 C / 86 F). Let air dry naturally away from direct heat or sun. For optimum health & hygiene, replace your Finn Comfort footbeds regularly.

X-DIAB LADY is a shoe for tertiary prevention of the diabetic foot and was built to alleviate pressure on the sole of the foot. It is suitable for anyone with a history of ulcers or who has undergone amputations (this includes Charcot foot) and is also recommended for patients suffering from rheumatism and with serious deformities.
The rigid biomechanical outsole limits stress on the joints of the foot whilst the wearer is walking and significantly reduces pressure peaks on the forefoot, contributing to a proper distribution of pressure. The rigid outsole reduces the risk of re-ulceration in diabetic patients by over 50% (tests conducted by the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute (Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli), University of Bologna). With its “boat”-shaped design, it contributes to the push-off stage and helps the foot to roll more easily.
The stretchable upper without seams at friction points takes the shape of the foot, softly accommodating any deformities (such as a hallux valgus or hammer toes) and avoiding painful risky rubbing and chafing.
The double-velcro fastening means that the front of the upper can be opened, making for an easy entry. It is a perfect solution for feet which are big, swollen or bandaged because the generous fit and adjustable volume comfortably accommodates the foot.
