Pulse oximeter The oximeter means that the quantity of oxygen with which the blood is saturated (SpO2) can be measured. This process has been used regularly for twenty years and enables the condition of patients with respiratory diseases or infections (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchial asthma) to be monitored.
