BRUXICALM SPORT Description and intended use:
Bruxicalm is a dental discharge splint which main function is to protect the teeth from involuntary friction when under stress and/or while sleeping.
Bruxicalm Night (BXCNIGHT): Bruxism. Periods of stress in which teeth grinding occurs involuntarily during the night. Precautions: • The splint is recommended for use with adult teeth. • Do not wash the splint in hot water. • Avoid storing the splint near heat sources and at temperatures higher than 60 °C. A dentist or physician should be consulted before beginning to use a dental splint. This applies in particularly to the following cases: • Severe bruxism. • Dental or gingival conditions Gum disease. • Respiratory or other sleep-related health problems. • Temporomandibular joint pain and sounds. • Temporomandibular joint disorders, also known as temporomandibular dysfunction, craniomandibular dysfunction (CMD). • Minors. The splint should not be used in case of: • Broken or loose dental repairs, such as fillings, crowns or veneers. • If, simultaneously, it is used dentures or braces. • If there are loose teeth. The device must be revised periodically, If you detect any type of unusual wear, you must replace it inmediately. Any serious incident involving the device must be reported to the manufacturer and to the competent authority of the member state where the user and/or patient is located. PRIM Bruxicalm Oral Protector Day is a device whose main function is to interpose between the upper and lower dentures, thus avoiding direct friction between the teeth (bruxism) and providing relaxation of the jaw muscles. Ideal for periods of stress, while driving or studying.
How to use
Composition
Heat water to the boiling point and, after removing it from the heating source, insert the mouthguard for a few seconds, until the material acquires a malleable consistency. Take the mold while it is still hot and adjust it to the denture of the upper jaw, pressing lightly for a few seconds to adapt to the jaw. Remove the mouthguard and insert it in cold water to fix the material. You can repeat this operation on the mouthguard if it has not been properly adjusted.SKU: n/a -
