This is a post-operative shoe designed for the treatment of hallux valgus, diabetic ulcers of the forefoot and midfoot. The rigid biomechanical sole guarantees greater stability allowing the patient to walk safely without the use of crutches; the rigid sole reduces the risk of re-ulceration in diabetic patients by over 50%. The Talismo 8° insole, included in the package, allows the pressure of the forefoot to be transferred to the rearfoot thanks to its 8° inclination. The upper adapts to the different sizes of the foot to be accommodated; its special construction allows the containment of the operated foot eliminating any pressure points; the stabilization of the heel is guaranteed by the anatomical construction of the product avoiding the rotation of the heel during the contact phase and mid stance. It is possible to insert a selective unloading insole. The sole, thanks to its shape, helps to simulate a natural walk.

X-DIAB LADY is a shoe for tertiary prevention of the diabetic foot and was built to alleviate pressure on the sole of the foot. It is suitable for anyone with a history of ulcers or who has undergone amputations (this includes Charcot foot) and is also recommended for patients suffering from rheumatism and with serious deformities.
The rigid biomechanical outsole limits stress on the joints of the foot whilst the wearer is walking and significantly reduces pressure peaks on the forefoot, contributing to a proper distribution of pressure. The rigid outsole reduces the risk of re-ulceration in diabetic patients by over 50% (tests conducted by the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute (Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli), University of Bologna). With its “boat”-shaped design, it contributes to the push-off stage and helps the foot to roll more easily.
The stretchable upper without seams at friction points takes the shape of the foot, softly accommodating any deformities (such as a hallux valgus or hammer toes) and avoiding painful risky rubbing and chafing.

STABIL D is a foot/ankle brace devised to treat the diabetic foot during the acute phase and to offload pressure in the case of neuropathic and ischaemic ulcers affecting the forefoot and midfoot. It is recommended for the vascular-diseased diabetic foot and Charcot foot. It is ideal for the post-surgical treatment of ankle-foot and subastragal arthrosis, corrective distal osteotomy and fractures to the astragalus and heel whenever complete offloading is required. It is also suitable for instability in the ankle whenever the ankle-foot joint needs to be partially immobilised.
The rigid biomechanical outsole provides the brace with the utmost stability during the gait cycle and the EVA insole (included) makes for targeted offloading.
The multi-velcro fastening and full opening make it easy and quick to put on whilst the front flap protects the tibia and instep from dangerous painful rubbing.
