X-DIAB LADY is a shoe for tertiary prevention of the diabetic foot and was built to alleviate pressure on the sole of the foot. It is suitable for anyone with a history of ulcers or who has undergone amputations (this includes Charcot foot) and is also recommended for patients suffering from rheumatism and with serious deformities.
The rigid biomechanical outsole limits stress on the joints of the foot whilst the wearer is walking and significantly reduces pressure peaks on the forefoot, contributing to a proper distribution of pressure. The rigid outsole reduces the risk of re-ulceration in diabetic patients by over 50% (tests conducted by the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute (Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli), University of Bologna). With its “boat”-shaped design, it contributes to the push-off stage and helps the foot to roll more easily.
The stretchable upper without seams at friction points takes the shape of the foot, softly accommodating any deformities (such as a hallux valgus or hammer toes) and avoiding painful risky rubbing and chafing.
The double-velcro fastening means that the front of the upper can be opened, making for an easy entry. It is a perfect solution for feet which are big, swollen or bandaged because the generous fit and adjustable volume comfortably accommodates the foot.

Masaccio is a shoe designed for the treatment of diabetic foot, ideal for accommodating even major deformities thanks to the upper in black Flexpell®.

MASACCIO is designed for the third degree prevention of diabetic foot (in the presence of previous ulcers and Charcot’s foot).

The rigid biomechanical sole limits the joint stresses of the foot during walking and significantly reduces pressure peaks in the forefoot and redistributes them correctly. The rigid sole reduces the risk of re-ulceration of diabetic patients by more than 50% (IOR test of the University of Bologna).
The raised stabilizing buttresses can be adjusted with lateral splints that allow greater stability of the ankle.
The self-modeling and seamless upper in the rubbing areas molds to the shape of the foot and comfortably accommodates any deformities such as hallux valgus or hammer toes, avoiding painful chafing.
The double velcro closure allows you to open the front of the upper, thus facilitating the insertion of the shoe, even in the case of an important, swollen or bandaged foot that is comfortably welcomed by the extra fit and the adjustable volume.

The shoe is designed for the insertion of a finished or custom-made insole (even thick).

ACTIVITY SPORT GREY is a piece of high-tech footwear from Podartis’ Podynamica range. It was developed to help the overweight enjoy physical exercise but also designed to curb excessive pronation or supination.

The semi-rigid Timing Rocker Sole® biomechanical outsole uses DCS Dynamic Cross System® technology. It is a fibre-composite insert located inside the Vibram® tread which helps to curb excessive pronation and supination and boasts an extra bearing capacity to make sure that the sole does not collapse in the case of overweight wearers (tested up to 140 kg).
This system ensures an excellent elastic response and contributes to an improved gait, reducing the joint energy requirements for a smooth elastic transition.

You can adjust the volume of the shoe by leaving or removing the insole.
Maintenance tips
You can clean textile with a damp sponge or cloth. Allow to dry in the open air.
The insole is hand washable at 30 °C.
